Is there a minimum booking?

Yes — three hours per visit for home cleaning, four for a move-out clean. That is the same minimum we pay our housekeepers for a guaranteed job, so it is the honest floor rather than a sales tactic. Minpaku turnovers are priced flat per checkout instead, with no hourly minimum.

What if it takes longer than the estimate?

We tell you before we continue. The estimate on this page is our best guess from the size and scope you entered; the coordinator confirms a firm duration in writing before the first visit, and we never bill extra hours you haven't agreed to.

Do I need to be home?

No. You can be home, meet the housekeeper to hand over a key each time, or use a lockbox. For recurring cleans most customers give us a key, held under the same procedure we use for our own apartments.

Do you bring cleaning supplies?

Yes, everything is included in the hourly rate. If you would rather we used your own products — for allergies, or a surface that needs something specific — just leave them out and tell us in the notes.

Will I get the same cleaner every time?

For recurring bookings we assign a regular housekeeper and keep them wherever the schedule allows, because a cleaner who knows your home is faster and better. If they're unwell or on leave we send a replacement rather than cancelling on you.

How do I cancel or reschedule?

Tell us at least two business days before the visit and there's no charge. Inside that window we may bill for the housekeeper's guaranteed time, because the slot is already committed to you. There is no contract and no cancellation fee for stopping a recurring plan.

Should I tip?

No. Tipping is not customary in Japan and our housekeepers are paid a proper wage. If you're happy with the work, telling us so is worth more — it goes into their record.

Can I get an invoice or receipt for my company?

Yes. Tell us the company name and address in the notes and we'll issue a proper receipt. If your business needs a qualified-invoice (適格請求書) number for tax deduction, ask the coordinator when they call.

Are you insured?

Yes. Our housekeepers are employed by us, background-checked, and covered by our liability insurance. If something is damaged, you deal with us — not with an individual cleaner or a platform's claims process.

Can I book in Japanese?

Yes. The whole process works in English or Japanese, and we've supported international residents in both since 2006.

How far ahead do I need to book?

Usually a few days for a regular clean, and longer for a deep clean or a move-out, which take a bigger block of a housekeeper's day. Same-day minpaku turnovers are arranged as a standing schedule rather than one at a time.

What won't you do?

Exterior windows above the ground floor, mould remediation, pest control, moving heavy furniture, clearing large items, and anything involving a biohazard. Air-conditioner deep-cleaning is a separate specialist job we can arrange but don't include in an hourly clean.
